## Application

ULS-XSpot is built for tethered drone operations: the transmitter has a
centre through hole, so the tether cable passes through the unit without
obstructing the optical field. It suits stationary or slow-moving tethered
drones that need precise positioning over the ground station during flight
and landing, over a working distance of up to 50 m.

ULS-XSpot-G3 shares the generation 3 platform with ULS-Heli-G3, including
the dual receiver architecture for redundancy and MRX yaw estimation.
